I'll have to do a demo showing off the staccato samples. You can do really cool funk Jaco type lines. The staccato has both index and middle finger samples, so you don't have to worry about the machine gun effect at all.GermanFafian wrote:Gotta get my Jaco hat on and get ready

great news Greg.
I think will be another cool release. I'm just out of a track where i used manybass and loved the result.

Cool stuff. Will any additional articulations be added to the original MB pack at some point to cover as above in the fretless?

I know what you mean, the fretless is a lot more extensive. But the soundsets in ManyBass cover a wider tonal range, as well as things like slapping and picked.andywright67 wrote:Will any additional articulations be added to the original MB pack at some point to cover as above in the fretless?
I am still thinking about future soundsets to put on ManyBass.com. Although the priority is not as high as releasing the fretless bass, for example, we still plan on providing new material for customers on the ManyBass website.

That's not what I heard. I was sitting by their table and I'm sure they said "Soft" as butter.butter wrote:Thanks! That's what the ladies do say about me.metal wrote:Where do I sign? Sounds smooth as butter.

Hey Greg and Paul, this sounds incredible and the mapping looks very interesting. I am assuming one can load all 4 sets into ManyBass and they all work together?
Are you also releasing this one for Kontakt? (Although I use ManyBass for my bass tracks a lot more than Kontakt, my bandmate uses Kontakt)
How large is this bass in megabytes?
Can't wait for this, more demo mp3s please!

Yup, it's designed to work in ManyBass, using the keyswitching functionality to switch between the soundsets.Radjo wrote: Hey Greg and Paul, this sounds incredible and the mapping looks very interesting. I am assuming one can load all 4 sets into ManyBass and they all work together?
Yes, we will be simultaneously releasing it in Kontakt format among others.Radjo wrote: Are you also releasing this one for Kontakt? (Although I use ManyBass for my bass tracks a lot more than Kontakt, my bandmate uses Kontakt)
556 MB. Which I am actually impressed at considering that besides being sampled in 24-bit, the sustained samples have generous decays. Not to mention the different degrees of vibrato, index/middle finger samples for each, etc.Radjo wrote: How large is this bass in megabytes?
Yup! I'm currently working on a demo that shows off the faster, more upbeat side of the fretless library.Radjo wrote:Can't wait for this, more demo mp3s please!
