Simplistic, Hip Hop-ish, Slightly Glitchy Nonsense

Hi guys - time to pop my KVR cherry and post something in the Cafe.

This is the first thing I've written in nearly 5 years that has actually come even close to being finished. Its not mastered so you'll find its fairly quiet by today's standards.

In Denial? No. Insane?

Genre = Slightly - basically a slowish hip hop instrumental which is also slightly glitchy, slightly dubby, slightly bassy (okay its quite bassy), slightly jazzy and probably lots of other words ending in a y

Too many effects to mention in any kind of cohesive order so instead looky here if you're interested.

Hey, I like this. Simple composition, but a nice creamy recording. The quietest moments are nicely quiet. The beat is cool and creative, but the track could use some transitional elements as there is nothing to really hold on to in this (as a song). My opinion only and take that for what it's worth....some salt But nice first post.

Your opinion is exactly why I posted this. I felt it was missing something and I don't know exactly what. Someone else (yo J! Where are you man?) suggested it needed a pad which I tried to mixed results. I did think of trying some kind of glitchy 70's style wah-wah guitar or maybe just some vanilla strings which would at least give it some more complexity and some form of progression (if I can program/play it using a keyboard)
