Can anyone in on the drumcore group buy who has the SR Rex pack try to import a folder of loops into DC?

I am import a folder from the vintage rock collection (British Rock 100-109 BPM). DC says 17 files imported, but only 13 show. So far similair results have happened with any SR folder i have tried so far.

zedd gave a nice How to over on the DC thread.

Short version

Place the Rex folder in contents.
Open Import in DC> Locate folder to add.
Click on BPM tab in the gui.
Add Drummer pack and Grooveset and then click import.

I've imported several that work.. Others show errors for no reason I can tell.
Big Band being one and Brit Rock another.

The ones that loaded well; Nashville and Motown , world and a few others are very nice teasers.

Right. I did follow those steps. What I see on the Vintage Rock collection at least is that when I import a folder with BPM selected, they all seem to work.

However, AFAIK, Rex loops should show up at any tempo. Unless the tempo slider is set to all, some loops don't show. Import the first few vintage rock folders, leave the tempo at 120 and count the visible loops in DC versus the number of loops in the folder.

Fyi _ looks like my issue was due to the naming convention of the loops. If the loops end with the same type of name, for example "3_2_10", Drumcore will think its the same loop. Best bet is to simply rename the loops.

Yeah, we have a different naming scheme unfortunately. But it is easy enough to make a quick name change. We'd do it to our rexes but we're going to make a lot of them in DrumCore format anyway so...

I'd suggest anyone who doesnt have the REX or RAW pack, get them!. Drumcore makes them much more easier to use. I just hated using the Cubase loop browser (which doesn't even work correctly with REX files at the moment.) Drumcore takes all your content and makes it all EZDrummerish. Pretty cool. Thanks again for the deal.

How many did you have to do for each pack?

And won't this mess up any usage of those RX2 loops in other songs?

Sounds to me that it's a bug to be fixed in DC.
