Restoring original presets in IL plugins

Depends on the plugin.
For the most recent ones (the ones of which the name starts with "IL"), simply reload the preset (from the toolbar at the bottom of the plugin).
For the older ones, the easiest way is to reload the plugin.

Actually, I realize now, I should have asked in the IL forum, because I meant FL versions in the first place. Still, I'm unsure which plugins are you talking about (that is which plugins do start with "IL"). PoiZone, Toxic, and Morphine to my knowledge do not, right? Or are there newer versions which I missed?reflex wrote:Depends on the plugin.

Thanks again

The easiest way IMO is to save the initial setting or channel state when you 1st open the plugin to your current project folder. Then if you want to go back to the default setting you simply drag that preset file onto the plugin and it will go back to the original state. Looptalk has lots of info on this.

I'll try that out. Thanks also for the LoopTalk hint.Optomadic wrote:The easiest way IMO is to save the initial setting or channel state when you 1st open the plugin to your current project folder. For the FL versions (that don't start their names with "IL" btw), simply reload the preset.Z1202 wrote:Actually, I realize now, I should have asked in the IL forum, because I meant FL versions in the first place. If I try to reload the preset by clicking on its name in the preset list inside the plugin (e.g. Poizone) then nothing happens. If I load another preset and then again the first one, the modified and not the original settings are restored. The same happens if I browse the presets using the arrow controls. Or did you mean that I have to explicitly save the preset like Optomadic suggested?reflex wrote:For the FL versions (that don't start their names with "IL" btw), simply reload the preset.

PoiZone, Morphine and Toxic Biohazard are (unfortunately) different. They have their presets internally instead of as separate files. For those you indeed have to save the preset explicitely.

For a slighty quicker method of recalling internal plugin presets you can also save the preset to the actual plugin's folder (which is the 1st opened by default). Then you can easily recall by right clicking the preset arrows in the upper right and corner and selecting the default preset you created. I personally save settings in my project folder as the plugins folder can quickly become cluttered with too many files.
You can also select Browse presets from the drop down menu and the left. Then you will see the preset(s) in the browser. Drag and drop it onto the Header border of the wrapper and it will jump back to the state that was saved.
BTW you can also drag this preset onto ANY other plugin or even channel setting to get quick mulitple instances of the same plugin
.
It would be nice if there were 'built in' default or init settings that were selectable for all FL plugs.
