I just got the SampleTron Extras and I'm a bit confused about what it contains. For example, when I look at the 360 instruments, the .stw files in both collections (SampleTron & Extras) are the same size.
Same situation for the Powerhouse individual loops, Rare tape effects, Talentmaker loops and others.

In what way are the samples in the Extras collection different than the ones in SampleTron?

Ummm. I am surprised no one mentioned this earlier. Apparently we had an internal communication error here and it was done the other way around. Woops. So these are the things that are in SampleTron that weren't in Squids Tron. I guess that will be handy to have for Squids Tron people to buy on the cheap but... we're in the process of replacing it with the CORRECT Tron Extras which are the sounds that were in Squids Tron that didn't make it into SampleTron. WOW! That's never happened before. Bizarre. Well, I guess the people that joined the group buy will have gotten even more then for their money. We'll get the new replacement Stron Extras up this week and notify everyone... sort of good news though I think for you guys. A little embarrassing for us but mistakes can happen. Thanks for catching it.

Yeah I was just noticing this too! There were too many sounds with all my purchases lately and I just got around to comparing. Since I love the Talentmaker loops that's where I notice it being exactly the same.

Wow. I was going to post a thread about the link I saw on the Esoundz site "Sampletron Exclusive Extras"- comming soon. So these sounds are from the Squids collection that didn't make it to the Sampletron package that IK Multimedia provided? If so, very interesting! Hope to see it on offer soon.
