With a doff of the hat to the current topic trend of making wild claims about tracks and use of the best queens english in posts, I offer my latest.

It's the first track from an EP I hope to release soon (so plenty of effort to improve the production, feedback appreciated)

Anyway, for your listening delectation:

nice track
the intro sounded like a MONSTER 70's arena prog rock opening so I was taken aback when the drums entered the mix... but then again the massive guitar stacks stayed home too!

otherwise:
I thought the drums are a bit too much in front compared to the rest of the track.

thanks for the feedback DD. Not the first time I've been surprised by the associations some music generates.. 70s prog rock huh.. :o

Think you're spot on about the drums, I was thinking that too last night. Will look at dropping them back a little in the final mix.

cheers

Really love that intro
I agree with DD that the drums could be a little more restrained. Nothing wrong with them, just that they tend to overpower the rest.

Ah, I see you've already picked up on that :)

Mmmm. 4:03
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Thanks folderol... yes, will fix the drums ..

In fact I think I'll do what I should have done in the first place and leave it a while and do the final mix then with a better perspective. (How many times can I know that advice and ignore it heh! ;)

cheers

Lovely track, I really like the part that comes in around 2 mins. :tu:

cheers core.. made my day to read that, cus that's the track for me (far more so than the intro stack)..

Credit to the synth maker tho, that sound is a preset in Chimera  .

Really nice track.

The intro ends quite abruptly though. A liaison may adapt it a little bit more to my tastes... But well, those are not universal. ;)

And about the rhythm, it sure sounds good but what about some more tweaking and modulation ? I don't think it's too much in the front, but my speakers are not good on my portable... I should go and check it with a headphone.

Nice one.
