Another Ogun bug

1.0.1 loads fine for me but either produces no sound, or tries to destroy my speakers and ears with square waves 30dB over 0. Seriously - my ears hurt. Happens in Sonar producer 6 (WDM or ASIO drivers) and FL Studio 8.
Also, the gui doesn't repaint/update properly in Sonar.
If I select the pad 10 preset in FL 8, I get a dialog "Something went wrong loading the ogun plugin state. Please contact us"
It has completely crashed sonar and hung FL on a number of occasions.
There's more, but this is enough for now.

Loads and plays for me in Sonar 7 but I agree the gui updates are sluggish.

does your CPU support SSE1? All of our stuff now require SSE1 but I don't think we give a warning msg about that.

I've got an 18month old Intel Dual Core, so I assume that should be fine. I've looked at the demo versions of most generators packaged with FL8, and they all seemed fine. In fact I don't ever recall another instrument glitching and bombing like this, and I have a lot of them...does your CPU support SSE1? Could you give Sytrus VSTi a try, as a reference?

Sytrus VSTi is working just fine. Verified Ogun still not working - initial cymbal patch makes no sound - selected random patch bellish 6 and bottom right quadrant of vst does not repaint. play a few notes get a few clicks then silence.
My processor is actually an AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 5000+ according to control panel system window - sorry, though I had an Intel.

What version of Windows do you have?

I've tried it in Vista x64 on an Athlon 64 3200+ (single core though) and I just can't make this happen.
Do you have multi-threaded processing enabled in FL? If so, does it work better if it's off?

I haven't made any low level changes to FL - I just installed it and didn't really change much. I don't even know how to change that setting.
Remember - it happens with the FL format plug and the VSTi in Sonar.

There's an option called "Multi-threaded generator processing" in FL's File settings. Is that on or off? If it's on, does the problem still happen if it's off?
Btw, could you try version 1.0.2 of Ogun, available at www.image-line.com since earlier today?
