Hi everybody,
I booted Poodles and Flan tonight only to find it won't work, even after a reboot. I wanted to download it from Paul Whalley's site and discovered it's goen.
Does anybody have a copy of the installer for PnF?
Please send to gripettevert@gmail.com
Thank you ever so much!
Paul

And if you have trouble installing it under Vista, try this: Extract the folder to C:\Temp, then run setup by right-clicking the setup file, and run as administrator. C:\Program Files\PnF\PnF.exe is the executable file, for which you can create a shortcut on your Windows desktop.

Hi, I doubt any of you OPs will see this, I am about 10 years too late.
I made package of all three of Paul Whalley's MIDI programs: Poodles n Flan, Quasi-Fractal Composer, and Tangent (my favorite for versatility and control -- including 400+ of my .CMP projects as additional "Demos.")
It also includes all the Visual Basic DLLs (from Windows 95-XP era) which Windows requires in order to run it. And instructions to place them in the appropriate folder.
These are the full, final versions. In 2025, I use all three regularly on Windows 10. Find me on Soulseek under the account name "Fatal Strategies" -- anyone may download the .Zip here without asking. (If my shares don't load for you, then install Nicotine (alt browser that's able to browse large libraries. Or just private message me (on SS)! And I will be happy to help you.)
IF you message me on KVR, I probably wont ever see it. I made this account just now in order to reply to this one message. So if you really want these one-of-a-kind masterpieces, Soulseek is where to find them. Remember -- if nothing shows up, don't blow it off. I want to pass this on to people who care. Hence this message.
And if I don't hit you back on SS right away, I'm probably asleep. The last thing I want to do disappoint a fellow MIDI outlaw. We've got to help each other out, no one else is going to do it.
