Toxic Biohazard version 1.0.2 has been released. It can be downloaded from http://www.image-line.com.

- fixed crashes when closing plugins in OSX
- threading-related fixes
- fixes on PPC macs
- fixed some crashes related to downloader in OSX
- several small changes and fixes

Hi Reflex,

where can i get the additional presets? My music-pc is not connected to the internet. I downloaded the demo, installed it, used the renewed key to register ... and when i loaded Toxic, there was a demo-bank and a keys-bank and a link to get all the rest.

You'll have to download those by installing Toxic on your online pc, and then copy the downloaded presets to your music pc.

... means: i have to install a vst-host, then Toxic ... and then i download the presets and then i copy them to a stick and then i paste them to my Toxic-folder on my music-pc.
may i ask, why it is so complicate?

It will be possible in the not-so-distant future to just install our downloader instead of the plugin, so that will make it a bit easier.

There will also be a standalone version of Toxic Biohazard at some point.

seems to be some kind of protection ... but as usual: legitimate users with offline-music-pcs have the hassle. Not quite kosher, but what can i do?

Thanks for the fast replies anyway and: Toxic Bio is a great synth with a unique sound, a fantastic sequencer and a well-thought gui!

Of course it's a protection, although not specifically for Toxic Biohazard presets. But if you could download them from a browser, you'd still have to transfer them to your music pc.

Btw, this is just my personal opinion, but I fail to see the advantage of an offline pc in this day and age. At least if you're careful about what you download/visit.

problem with online-pc is: firewall, anti-virus etc. need cpu, slow down the pc, make trouble with soundcards etc. For a technical idiot like me it's much better to have things separated. My former music-pc was online and i never went out of trouble.
Anyway, i'll install Toxic here.

what about a personal link in the account?
i dont know if there are any new presets with the new version or since i bought it. my online computer is very old and slow. i prefer not to install vst host and plugins. not for presets.

The next version of the downloader will let you download these presets from the Download Manager application as well, also for the OSX version. It should be in beta soon.
