Yes but T-Racks, Philharmonic and CSR were only on v1 anyway I think so that leaves Sonic Synth, Sampletank and Amplitude. Amplitude has only recently been updated to v2, Sonic Synth by it's nature follows behind Sampletank so therefore by a process of elimination I vote Sampletank
(Unless IKM can't count that is

Sonik Synth doesn't HAVE to follow SampleTank 3 first. You're wrong on that. I am not saying it is Sonik Synth 3 but... just to mix things up a li'l. Haha. This is about as much fun as it gets on KVR (besides the funny threads).aMUSEd wrote:Yes but T-Racks, Philharmonic and CSR were only on v1 anyway I think so that leaves Sonic Synth, Sampletank and Amplitude. Maybe not but you've already pretty much indicated this is an IKM product as well

I've changed my mind
Pioneering..., heard on countless records.... It has to be SampleTank
Or Amplitube.. or T-racks

I agree. I would be really excited if they finally updated Sampletank. If they could make it even close to Kontakt in terms of creating your own patches, I would be all over it. As it stands now, it's basically just a ROMpler, because building patches is mind-boggling in it.bduffy wrote:I'd have to go with Cramplestank. Long overdue for a real overhaul.
Plus, I think ST is in the worst need of an overhaul. T-Racks could be considered finished as it is, and the Amplitube line is still pretty tits as far as amp-sim's go. Sampletank, on the other, NEEDS some love. Badly.

Actually I voted for T-racks on the IK quiz..It hasnt been updated since March 2007..
It could be any of them though, either way its good to know IK are working on stuff!

Sampletank 2 came out in 2003. So, i think, it'll be the one that has to be updated first with some arpeggiator, disk-streaming and the likes.
