After using dBlue Glitch and demoing Effectrix I started wondering if there was a VST that was sort of a shell like Chainer, but that had a matrix and sequencer like an arp in a synth so you could build your own effects step-sequencer using what ever 3rd party VSTs you wanted.
Anything out there like this?
Como
Does this VST Exist? Chainer morphs 2 dBlue Glitch?

welcome to kvr, como baila!
while tools like Effectrix and dblue's Glitch certain have some intrinsic benefits and abilities, you can achieve the customized effects sequencing that you describe in Ableton Live using Live's fx racks. You can map controller ranges (and fade/morph regions) to each of the vst or native Live effects that you put in your rack and you can "sequence" them either in realtime (by routing a midi controller to the chain selector) or you could edit the chain selector automation envelope in the arrangement view window.
It's perhaps not as elegant as having a vst or host type effect that could sequence your effects in realtime etc, but to a degree that can be done in Live

Thanks for the suggestions. I will check out the Independence Pro. If I understand correctly, I am surprised it will host other native plugs.
I like the Ableton saved 'racks' idea ... but I still think it comes short of the Effectrix/ Chainer concept for ability to save presets with sequence and use it cross-platform.
Maybe someone here at KVR will take this idea and run with it?
