Saving Maximus presets in Cubase 4.5

Does anyone know how to do this? Saving presets in C4 sometimes seems like a random affair.

What I would LIKE to do, is have my presets show up with all the OTHER IL presets in the Maximus drop down in the lower right of the GUI.

But when I go to save them, I get a Cubase dialog box that has me search for the folder to drop them in. I open C://program files/Image Line/Maximux/presets and drop them in there. But I still don't see them in the Maximus drop down when I click it open. Is there another folder somewhere that I've got to drag them to? Or a 'refresh' protocol to recognize them?

fxb? vst3?
