I just downloaded the latest version, and it has an option to disable keyboard capture when in an edit window.

No need to use F-12 when saving presets etc

Glad to hear this seems to be working. Just be aware it only works for text boxes and typable combo boxes. It won't necessarily work everywhere you can type.
