RM V : button for reverse mode for slices in loop players?

Two quenstions about RM V :
Been checking all it s functions for a couple of days.

I can not find a reverse function in the loopplayers.
Is it possible to reverse a specific slice or an entire loop? If so : where is the button to do this?

I have this in phatmatic pro so I would assume that RMV has this ability too.
I did find it in the pad section. But this is for the pads only ?

Also I have not managed to get the ecs function workinhg in Logic 8. No controller messages recognised.....

Drum addiction.......indeed that covers RMV very well...fantastic software.

1.) There is no "play slice reverse" button or something like that but it's a very good idea...

2.) ECS is still working on Logic8, i did it several times and it was working...

Willl try the ecs again.
Reverse for the slices and the whole loops should be on top of the features for a next update. I now have to use my ext audio editor for this....

another thing that came to my mind:

is it possible to adress separate midi channels to the pad and loop players?
I would like to use RMIV as a multitimbral instument. Can this be done?

Yes, RMV is still an Multimtimbrale instrument.

If you go to the setup page you can see the different Midi Channels for the pads and for the Audio Looper 1 to 6...

If you haven't changed anything at this setup page, the Pads were using Midi Channel 10, the Audio Looper is using Midi Channel 11, the second Audio looper is using Midi Channel 12 and so on...

You can change your midi settings and all settings were automatically saved with the instrument and "not" with the song... The good thing is, if you start a new song with RMV you will have the same midi channel settings as in your old song..

We will soon release some tutorial videos were you can see all the nice features in action and how to change them and a lot of more... One of the videos show you how ECS is working on RMV and i have still used Logic8 and it works...

great to hear there will be videos! Although I now seem to have grips on most of the features of RMV.
I really enjoyed the video tutorials that Ben Willet did to explain Alchemy. After watching them I could work immediately with alchemy without any more quenstions.. Reading manuals ( especially the huge ones like RMV s ) is not something I enjoy that much....
I can imagine that RMV can look a bit overwhelming if you are not used to RMIV.

Yes, RMV is really a powerful and complex instrument. We saw that ofcourse and thought about these videos and we think, it's a good way to help you and to find out all the nice features in the instrument...
