It's getting intresting when it comes to Synplant. Magnus gave me permision to share my hack, so here it is!
It is a mod that I call Thorns. It comes in 3 flavours. My original, my altered version that Magnus helped me correct, and a corrected version with broader pitch range.
Magnus doesn't encourage hacking Synplant in v1.0 since there is no error range check between the scripts and the engine. The engine expects the scripts to follow the rules.
Apart from this my mods are ready for y'all to enjoy.

Just curious, but what does your script do? I know it's called "Thorns", so I guess it adds thorns to the branches? But what does it do overall?
Regardless, thanks for the mod! I'm just trying the demo lately, but it's a pretty cool synth indeed!

This mod spreads the gene data so it doesn't follow any precise genetical guideline. The result: Absolute totally and utter missgrowth of any plant.

Thank you sir!!!
TBH Im kinda scared of breaking my plant - just when Im growing to love it
For Mac folks - the AU (when you examine package contents) has to be in resources right?
Tried it and got an error - cant find url globals: type (txt) - so the file need to be renamed to lowercase g

More please!

I like!
A quick track I put together in a few minutes, nothing but two instances of Synplant with random seeds with the Magnus corrected version of the script:
Supplanted
No automation or tweaks or anything, just some MIDI notes.

...in fact, this is mighty inspiring. So easy to whack out a basic glitchy rhythmic loop to build off of, or some ambient fun. I have the beginnings of two or three tracks ready to be expanded upon already.
