Here's a bit from an e-mail received today from IK:

"Be the first to learn which of the world’s most influential sounds will be coming soon to your desktop!"

I put this the Effects forum because I have no idea what it will be but please speculate...............

Really? No opinions on what could be one of the "World's Most Influential Sounds"? That's a pretty big claim......I really don't even have a good guess. Oberheim on the synth end? Some kind of legendary effect that I could never afford in the hardware world?

Yes I'm thinkin what could be one of the most influential sounds and Piano certainly has to be ranked number one or two (guitar?). Of course to IK it could be some high dollar hardware effects unit used by the Beatles that we're all supposed to drool over.

I'm not sure if a new SampleTank would fit the description the gave unless it's loaded with some new secret weapon sounds. I signed up to be notified as well but my form never seemed to go through so I'm not sure if I'll get the news.

I'm not sure a new version of Sampletank would be considered the world's most influential sound. I am totally with you though in hoping that they will also unroll Sampletank 3 there also.
