Hi Bradr
I formatted my Harddrive and reistalled cantabile. Now when i go to run it I get this error " The procedure entry point WMcreatesyncreader could not be located in the dynamic link library WMVcore.dll
Any idea what this could be.

What version of Windows Media Player do you have installed? You need v9 or later.
I have an outstanding fault to have Cantabile handle this more gracefully. What operating system did you install so I can reproduce the same scenario here?
FYI: This is related to Cantabile's mp3 support, which uses Windows Media Player's media API to decode such files.

That worked a treat. I had WMp8 installed on a winxp system with no service pack updates. I updated to WMP9 and it fixed it. At least I know for the next time.

OK, glad to hear that worked. I'm half way through a fix so that next time Cantabile will say "You need Windows Media Player 9"...billcar2004 wrote:Thanks
