Using the midi-out, can we record the note output and automation values to the track Atomic is routed to?

Yes...if you set the destination track as a 'midi track, and then hit record, and the midi track should record Atomic's output as if it was a 'normal' keyboard controller.

It depends on what host you are talking about tho, cuase each does it a bit differently..but that's the theory anyway!

It works as Tim says in Cubase SX3.

Heh, i was coming here to post this very question! Cheers glokraw! Does it work in Live? I want to be sure i can record the midi data that atomic spits out...

Seems like there were instructions on how to do this with FL Studio.
I'll need to find them and try/do.
