GUI flickering problem...

I have a problem with Surge's value display flashing so fast, that it is impossible to read the values. This has been happening for ages, but I always assumed it would get fixed eventually.

I have checked Surge with FL Studio, Reaper and SaviHost, just to confirm it is an issue with Cantabile and not Surge.(Using the latest version 2015)

Normally, when a control is moved, a display panel appears below the control, showing the values.
With Cantabile, the display appears, and then flashes off immediately, until the next tiny movement of the mouse, which triggers the display panel for another microsecond. The result is what appears as a rapidly flashing display, being impossible to read, as it is off more than it is on (if you get my meaning).

Any chance of a future fix, or workaround Brad? - or even confirmation that it is reproducible.

Yes, I can confirm it's reproducible. Will investigate in the next day or so.

Thanks Brad, I just installed the latest version, and Surge works perfectly :tu:

If you are still looking at implementing additional things, could I suggest an option to NOT automatically remember plugins. I check-out new plugins often, and have to periodically remove them from the remembered list.

As I have made Cantabile the default application for opening dll files, all I need to do is double click on the downloaded vst, and Cantabile loads with the plugin ready to go. But when I delete the file, it still appears in the plugin list - hence the need to manually delete the remembered ones.

Anyway, great work, and thanks again for the prompt fix. :)
