In my quest to find pads that sound like from hardware workstations (triton, fantom, etc), i have come to a dead end in software. Have the TWB yet cant find any decent pads.
Can someone please tell me patch names in TWB that have nice pads, that sound very spacey, soft, nice long attack times, swirling kinda pads you know what i mean...

They'd be in Sonik Synth and probably Motion Pads are what you're looking for but you can also try the Combis (the little arrow at the top center) as there can be some in there as well.
Plenty of pads in there... but the next version of Sonik Synth will have even more.
Coming soon to a computer near you.

I don't mean this to sound judgemental but that is one hell of an assortment of sounds at your fingertips. If you can get something that is working with one sound, layer a couple of string patches and synth patches and Bobs your uncle. Add some long attack and modulate away and you should have some nice evolving pads in no time.

Also, remember to adjust the attack and release to fit your music. BTW, I agree that SS2 has some really nice pads.
