Does anyone knows what exact Reverb was used on Michael Jackson's Thriller EP ?

The only digital reverb used was the Lexicon 224XL.

There could have been some plate reverb on it but i don't think so.

The rest is real room ambience.

A real plate was used by Bruce Swedien on Gearslutz he goes into some detail about it.

This is the outboard gear that was used on Thriller. The white thingie with a red LED on the top next to the orange pedal is the remote for the 224XL.

where's the Jupiter 8 and the Synclavier they used?

That's only the effects. I assume the synths were already recorded and the actual synths was'nt part of the mixdown.

I think there was a small amount of distortion on some of the tracks as he was allegedly heard to say that he wanted to bring something into the studio with barely any fuzz...

which also explains why Michael's glove and Jheri Curl activator spray isn't sitting out - they already recorded the vocals.

A friend of a friend worked at Westlake Studios during the time MJ made Thriller and Bad. MJ did a lot of the basic backing tracks at home in Neverland and my friend would be dispatched there to pick up MJ's backing tracks every few weeks so they could be enhanced or have studio musicians overdub, etc. About the only time MJ was at the actual studio was for vocals and some of the mixdowns.
