Hi Brad,
is there a way to turn my session list window allways to front. After loading a session file via the session list window i get the last state of cantabiles main window. While I'm performing on stage i did not change anything in my plugin racks, etc.

Next suggestion:
Please give us a (big) "play position counter" in session list. That would be verry helpfull.

Hi Steffan,
Thanks for your feedback on this - all comments like this are useful so please keep them coming.
This is bordering onto what was going to be Cantabile's "Live Performance Mode" - a full screen display with session list, buttons for next/previous session, large clock etc. this feature was dropped from 2.0 simply due to a lack of time. However...
The next build already has a dock panel on the main window that shows the session list - which means you only need to use the session list window for editing session lists and while performing you can just leave the main window up.
I've done this because I'm starting to see comments that a special full screen view is less useful than Cantabile's main window which lets you check at a glance which plugins/racks are playing/enabled, which media files are playing etc...
One thing I've been considering (not for 2.0) is making Live Mode simply a locked down view on the main window where most editing would be disabled, there'd be options to disable screen saver, automatically maximize, show/hide specific panels etc... as well as the ability to hide racks/media players/triggers/routings etc that are disabled.
That said however, I agree that a big display for transport position (and session/sub-session name) is still handy and probably easy to add as a new panel on the main window. What else besides transport position would you want in such a display?
(Note these comments are not to detract from TiUser's project which while similar in some ways is trying to address a different problem).

Hi Brad.
Thanks for noting this.
Indeed my goal with using a touchscreen as a second screen controller does not touch any displays on the main screen. Indeed I've considered adding some windows on the main screen too, to display score or notes that can't be done really well on a small touchmonitor...
Indeed I am interested in a good integration with cantabile and will not do anything not matching this... I will think about this and contact you soon.

This will probably be in next build:

It's very basic: display elements can be hidden/shown (as per screen shot context menu). Font sizes can be adjusted by clicking an item and PgUp/Down. Note too new session list dock panel on the left.
I'll probably finesse it/make it a bit more customizable later.

Hi.
This addon looks nice, welcome!
What I ask myself is, are display state, size, etc. saved on a per session basis or is this global?
If you are fine tuning layout stuff, maybe it's possible to easily align the main and sessionlist window with "magnetic" snap to the screen boarders and between the bounds of the cantabile windows...? ...so just an idea.
BTW. such a display has really nothing much to do with what I'm doing, no worries here

The state of the panel itself (hidden/visible/collapsed/expanded) is saved in the session. The layout within the panel (font size/attribute visibility) is saved globally - well, per config.TiUser wrote:What I ask myself is, are display state, size, etc. saved on a per session basis or is this global?
