Cant find anything else about this on KVR.. Seems like IK are going to release the T-Racks 3 plugs separately... :) Excellent news..
Free download to existing owners of course..

$99 per module seems like a bit much. Wonder if this functionality will be added for owners of T-Racks 3 Deluxe?

Plus, current owners of T-RackS 3 Deluxe or Standard suites will be given the individual modules (included in the package they purchased) as a FREE download in their IK User Area.

That's actually cheap for high quality individual effects. Plus it just encourages people to get the full bundle.

Excellent news BTW! I have a feeling I'll actually start using these in mixes now. Very good move IK.

Izotope should definitly do the same!

Oh the Opto compressor is simply incredible.

Great news. I had planned on buying T-racks 3 deluxe in a few days anyway. This will make it alot better.

Agreed, I've been pulling my hair out of late because I really wanted some better plugs for dynamics and had narrowed my options down to a couple of Voxengo plugs or a UAD-1 card which is going pretty cheap right now.....
Looks like I can put that plan on hold for a while or maybe for good.. :)

Post

Great news! Any idea when they will show up on our downloads page at IK? Just checked, not there yet.

I think this is a smart move on IK's part. I don't even need them, and I'm still interested!

not unlike this offer, I got one for AT fender SE. They have a way of making their stuff tempting

but I won't go for SE. I want the whole pie, when I can afford it

btw, customers got the t-racks EQ for free, cool!

Post

I've been using whole instances of T-Racks 3 deluxe on individual tracks for the compression and EQ, haha, this will be much easier on my CPU than that. I built my computer with a powerful quad-core for a reason, but there's no doubt this will allow me to get more bang for my buck. Their metering alone uses up some precious cycles (but it is quite good, too)>

Now you can get a good Pultec or Fairchild emulation for $99. Although as someone else said, the Opto-Comp is absolutely awesome, I use it in parallel for mid and side with different settings and it gives a kickin' stereo field.

Suddenly got really tempting to but the whole thing, even though I own Ozone 4.

Looks like they are in the process of updating the site already. Its listed on the products page with a "buy now" link and the text-link "T-RackS 3 Standard or Deluxe user download your new free single plug-ins" is on the description page..
From what I remember the buy now links don't usually appear until the product is ready to roll..
Hopefully we will only have to wait a few days max..I'm working on a track right now..could use them :)
