Is it possible to send audio from a rack to another using Auxiliary channel?
I tested this situation sending the audio output of a VST instruments, in the first rack to an effect in the second rack. For do that I set the audio out of the instrument in the first rack to 19-Auxiliary 1 and 20-Auxiliary 2. In the second rack I set the audio input of the effect to 19-Auxiliary 1 assigned to Input 1 and 20-Auxiliary 2 assigned to Input 2 then I enabled the audio input for the second rack and I expected the sound of my instrument in first rack transferred to the effect in the second rack. But this doesn't work I have not sound in the input of effect in the second rack. Apparently this seems a silly approach to the chaining of instruments and effects but the reason is always the same I research a solution for sending all the outputs of multi out plug-in to differents effects in differents rack.
Cheers,
Gianluca

Which version of Cantabile are you using?
Cantabile Performer provides two partial sends that can be used like mixer auxiliary busses.
You can also do it simpler and add the effect plugin in the same rack after a synth and use the dry and wet faders there.
As far as I understand the master bus seems not to be intended yet to the type of routing you tried... I've tried some similar things too but the master bus seems currently only useful for stuff like surround mastering. I've found only 1:1 routing which is not enough to use it as a usual mixing bus with aux lines...
I guess master bus improvements are for version 3.x

Thank-you TiUser,
I use Cantabile 2, performer for the moment the demo version, and because I'm intentioned to bay the license I want to be sure it is possible to do all what I do with other host. Typically Energy XT or Ableton Live. Many things in this last version of Cantabile are very differents other equivalent or better than the host I mentioned but Cantabile is very oriented to live performance where other host are very pour and this is what I like.
I know the partial send ca be used to send something from a rack to another. But here the necessity is slightly different. What I want to do is use many output of a multi out plug-in in arrangements differents for every one. Some output with reverb some other dry, another with equalization, another with compressor, an so on.
How can I do that?

Hmmm... if you can't get the assignments you want via the dialog you can access by PluginSettings - Tools - Audio Channels in a plugin slot I guess I don't know...
In this box you can assign inputs and outputs of a plugin... maybe this helps?
I've wanted to use the master bus for a master and monitor stereo pair but because of the 1:1 assignment this seems basically impossible.

Hi
I've tried to basically replicate your scenario with three synths and two effects.
Synth A , B , C are set up in rack 1. A send to stereo master, B to aux 1/2, C to aux 3/4.
Effect 1, 2 are set up in rack 2. Efx 1 input is from aux1/2, output to stereo. Efx2 input from aux 3/4, output to stereo.
Now route output of rack 1 to rack 2. All master bus lines (stereo and aux) are availiable in rack 2 coming from rack 1.
I've muted combination to see what happens and it seems to work... Looks a bit triccy so.
Does this help?
