Hi Brad
Would it be possible to add an option to this section, Tha when I select a channel the keyboard will only show the notes on the keyboard that are on that channel. This way when used with the speed slider i could slow down a midi file to learn a piece.
Do the numbers under the keys on the keyboard represent the octave number because they are out by 1 octave. When a note is played on C3 on my keyboard C4 is played on the onscreen keyboard.
Liam
Edit
Sorry Brad. I,ve done a bit of searching about C3 and it seems C3 is actually C4. It seems soom manufacturers use middle c as c3 and soom use it as C4. My Alesis QSR uses C3. So thats what I have always used because of this. How confusing. You learn something new everyday.
Its no big deal but maybe a marker on the keyboard at middle C would be helpfull as a quick visual.

Hey, I think there is always space for new ideas... I myself thought as well it would be neat to display some status information on the keyboard.
However I know that Brad looks at this just as another virtual midi input device...
Anyway I could imagine some edit help, for instance when defining splits showing the sections in the keyboard for the selected rack...

Yep, Cantabile treats C4 as middleCDo the numbers under the keys on the keyboard represent the octave number because they are out by 1 octave. When a note is played on C3 on my keyboard C4 is played on the onscreen keyboard.
