Recording guitar while listening to jamstix.
I am having issues Recording guitar while listening to jamstix in Cantabile 2.0. When I try record guitar as jamstix rolls... It records the Drums as well. How do we seperate them.. If I can get it to work I will buy the software!!!

I can answer, so I don't have "the" answer...
Cantabile can record input and/or output.
Problem is how to separate "processed input" - which is output too from other output...
I think there is some potential with the master audio bus but I have no idea how to do what you wish...

If you have Jamstix playing inside Cantabile, you should record the input to get only guitar. The guitar will be dry, just the incoming signal. You can then mute Jamstix and play your recorded guitar through your effects and record the the output for the wet sound.
Another option is to enable more outputs in the audio engine options and route Jamstix to some other output that is set to "don't record" in the Configure Master Bus. I usually route the metronome through auxillary 1.
The recorders in Cantabile are best for live recording, not for multitrack work, but you can have multiple recordings playing at the same time if you want to.
