Greetings kvr. 8)

I'm considering getting an itouch for the audio apps; do you think it's worth it just for those?

Jasuto looks good but what's the other stuff like? Which of the apps for it stand out for you?

Are there any other synthy type programs for it that you recommend (i've seen the 303 emu from audiorealism which sounded pretty good). Are many of these apps cross platform like Jasuto?

Do all of the apps for the iphone also work for the itouch?

Cheers!

OMG yes. WIVI band alone is INSANE! I also emailed Wallander a few weeks ago and it turns out that you can use it in commercial music production! (I'm running it through an iphone headset mic for breath control and 1/8" stereo to 1/4" analog outs)

That said, it doesn't do polyphony or mutes, and has a limited range. But the sound quality is phenominal -- even when running analog straight out of your iphone / ipod!

I'm not so sure about the synths, I prefer using my computer and they're much more affordable than the full WIVI suite.

I think that all of the iphone apps work on the ipod touch -- though I'm not completely certain.

Thanks a lot for your reply. The wivi demos sound really good. Guess that answers any questions i had about the sound quality! I was under the impression that apps for the ipod were inexpensive but then they are mini macs. Anyway there does seem to be some good stuff available for them:

I followed the related links and watched a few other vids and some of the demos sounded alright. It's hard to tell though with the youtube conversion and/or recording quality. They look like a lot of fun for live improv anyway. Check out bebot:
