Yeah I thought some time ago Peter said that the next products would be :spaceman wrote:just asking.. just asking
- Albino 4
- Octopus 2
And after that maybe CronoX 4 with an updated player for Sophistry based on the CronoX 4 engine

Yes to all those! I was messing with Octopus a couple of days back and thinking "why aren't more preset designers working on this item?"
IIRC this is a Maxx Claster, pre his Image Line days?

Octopus is hard to tame ... anybody bought the new soundset for CronoX yet?

It's on my list. I'm also tempted by the Sophistry DL. CronoX is a beautiful-sounding synth, much underutilized by me...mellotronaut wrote:Octopus is hard to tame ... anybody bought the new soundset for CronoX yet?

I can recommend Sophistry - some highly inspirational sounds in there. You can also use them in Cronox 3.5 to take advantage of the engine update.

seldom, re_mute, you're right
Albino 4 is pretty unlikely, unfortunately, which is mainly because Rob seems not to be interested in developing this any further. So meanwhile we work on a different project which will kepp us busy for at least the rest of this year.

Does that mean that this new project is Albino 3 taken to the next level but with a different name ?
If so, that's REALLY interesting

I've done a couple in cooperation with lahalla, though he seems to have disappeared. Octopus is hard to get your head around at first, but it really does grow on you.funkychickendance wrote:Yes to all those! Not at all. We're not going to go in competition to Rob and Albino, he's our partner and Albino - for now - just remains at version 3.K-Slash wrote:Does that mean that this new project is Albino 3 taken to the next level but with a different name ?
