Has anyone gotten StompIO drivers to work with Vista 64? The installer fails partway through with a cryptic message and closes down. Every other IK Multimedia product installs just fine in Vista 64 and is usable in 32-bit apps like Reaper (including X-Gear), but I can't use StompIO because the darn drivers won't install. I presume because it's a USB hardware driver that it's flaking.

I had it all installed on a laptop but the performance was horrible so I am moving to a bigger and better machine but no dice... now I have all this great guitar modeling software and pedalboard that is collecting dust :-(

Will IKM *ever* support 64-bit OSes directly?

(Not bashing IKM, I use more of their stuff than any other vendor, I am just stuck on this one thing)

I did hear back from IK Multimedia finally and I was provided with a workaround: since StompIO currently does not have 64-bit native drivers, the recommended solution is to use ASIO4ALL instead. It works perfectly! And since the new machine I am using is much beefier than the cruddy laptop I was using, I don't have the performance issues I had before.
