Hey!
I would liek to know maybe here is someone who knows any place to get free and legal acapellas? There are a lot of places to get them but there is nothing said about their legality.. So, anyone..
Thanx!

Here's one: cc Mixter which hosts a lot of free and legal acapella's and other tracks to remix.
Of varying quality of course...

You can get plenty of them on ccmixter.org - just make sure that if you're going to send your tracks to a record company or even put them online you get in contact with the singers and/or specifically name them. It's good form and you could even work out something between yourselves (it's mostly a non-commercial site though).

If you're doing it just for fun I recommend an extensive youtube search and rip it from there. There's *bound* to be more a capella stuff than you can shake a stick at (also look for similar keywords)...

And they all are free and legal??

well they're all free and legal so long as you're not going to make money off them without working out some kind of deal with the singer. :)

A bit late but not quite! You always have to have permission to post copyrighted material from the licence holders. If you don't make money from it they *may not sue but you may still get a take down notice and anyway it's just good form to simply use something without restrictions OR get permission first.

Thanks
This isn't what you think.

just curious, ever think about your local high schools? They often have all kind of music programs (in fact my daughter is win an A Capella group in her high school). There are some talented kids who might want the experience of applying their talents to such projects and willing to do it for the experience :)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
