Pops and cracles with Rhino...

Hi,
Does anyone else have problems with pops and crackles when editing played back midi data from their sequencer?
I'm using Cubasis 4.
This happens if I select different oscillators, filters or adjust parameters.
I love this synth, the sound is beautifull, but it is hard to work with while it is poping and crackling!

Darren,

Changing presets will cause clicks because it takes a huge amount of time to process a new preset.
Changing waveforms will cut out the currently playing notes - hence causing pops - because waveforms are loaded on the fly from disk to reduce memory usage. A similar thing will happen when changing oscillator "freq coarse" or "freq fine" values - again because of some internal optimizations that assume the played waveform has a non-variable pitch.

Changing filter settings or other parameters should not cause any clicks/pops.
Do you have a similar problem with other hosts, or with the standalone version ?

loading waveforms on the fly from disk would possibly be an explanation I've been looking for.
when I'm close to the edge on cpu usage (and that happens a lot), the first time I play through a song structure I'll often peg out the cpu meter, but subsequent playthroughs are fine.
pops and crackles are pretty common with cpu overload.
