Beware I sing in this one, though much of it is masked by vocoding and vibrato delay. There's also nylon, electric and bass guitar all played by my shaky hand. Three distinct drum kits are layered to me taste.
It is nine and half minutes and encoded at 192kbps.
All comments whether positive or malicious are appreciated.

I love it, lots. Listened to it a dozen times, some wonderful moments in here.
The part at 4.27 min is so good.

I like this a lot. I'm a bit behind core in number of listens, but not by many. Outstanding work. My one misgiving about the song itself is that with the exception of a few lines I have no idea what you're singing. The vocal part sounds great as an instrument or sound, but if having the lyrics understood is important to you, you might consider adding them to your post. Other than that I can't think of anything negative, much less malicious, to say, so you're stuck with the positive. Thanks for this.
P.S.-A nonmusical complaint/suggestion: please consider tagging your mp3s and/or giving them file names that give the who and the what.
P.P.S.-The opening of this reminded me a bit of some stuff on the Aerotone label (a free netlabel I stumbled across somehow; I know I started at KVR and ended up there, but the middle steps are a mystery), especially My First Trumpet. If you're not familiar, you might want to give some of it a listen.

The 7.45-8.13 part is so nice. I could loop that a few hundred times heh.
I really like the parts where your vocals are relatively "dry", I'd love to hear more of that.

Thanks D.H. and again core. I'll check out Aerotone.
I'm pretty hard on myself when it comes to lyrics. I usually think what I am writing is muck, which is not say that is the case here. I vocoded and otherwise obscured the intelligibility of the words because I thought it made the song more interesting. The lyrics are sensible but I'm not sure I want them too be apparent.
I thought people would jump at the chance of being malicious.

I can't wait to hear this, GJ. Where can I get a bunch of your tracks in one spot? I would like an album worth of material in one sitting.

Hey Jazzyspoon. I had about a hundred tracks online but they are gone due to site problems. I have a few track up under /music_samples but you've already listened and commented on those. I need to upload more.Jazzyspoon wrote:I can't wait to hear this, GJ. Where can I get a bunch of your tracks in one spot? I would like an album worth of material in one sitting.
