Hey all, this thread is for any questions or bug reports you have for our plugin PanCake.

So far we know that it does not work under StudioOne für Mac (which is maybe no issue as this host seems picky with other plugins as well), and does not work with FXpansion's VST-AU-wrapper in Logic.

Thnks for this great plugin! I like the rhythmical possibilities through syncing.

amazing, small but very powerful and creative plugin :)

It seemed to be working fine for me in energyXT2 but its causing Cubase SL3 to crash. The first crash occurred when loading the plug. The second time I tried it loaded, but when I clicked on the interface (intro screen) it crashed Cubase again. (WinXP Pro)

Small, and seems to be very simple on the surface. But it's wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.

We just installed my old Cubase SX 3, but everything works fine here. Sigh.

Works great!
My only complaint is that if for some reason the input is too loud it will clip the sound horribly and not in any good way.
noise and beats: Negutyv Xeiro do people actually click these?
gearlust: Roland JP-8000, too much/not enough eurorack

The pan law we use is 3dB, which means the volume is raised by 3dB on the left or right channel when panned hard left/right.

We are processing with floating numbers; it does not matter to the plugin if the input is loud or quiet, we just multiply the input with the values for left and right channel and forward that result to the host software. A host should not clip the audio of a track if it is more than 0dB (but the master output must not be more than 0dB, of course).

It is a nice plugin, but I personaly think it doesn't go entirely to the right / left when I use it.

We just uploaded PanCake 1.0.1. This fixes drawing issues in Reaper and in various hosts on Mac OS X.
