Cantabile and RMX weirdness...

Hi:
I've got a bit of a strange problem and I hope someone can help:
I have catabile loaded on my desktop and laptop (to go to performances)..I usually create the session on my desktop and then copy the session to my laptop for remote performance....
However, I have encountered a strange problem with doing this when Stylus RMX is loaded in the session....when I drag and drop the midi files from RMX into their own media players and then fire the clips as needed..everything works as expected (using the session that i created on my desktop...with my desktop)....but...when I open the same session file (that i created on my desktop) on my laptop, Cantabile cannot find any of the associated RMX files...I would have thought that they would be saved within the session file info...so, I have to re-do all the media players that have RMX midi clips in them and save that version for the laptop..then when I re-open my "laptop" version the session works as expected.
Does anyone know why this happens? or how I can fix it...
Any help would be appreciated!
using 32-bit version, windows 7...on both the desktop and laptop

Is the path to the files exactly the same on both systems?

...I don't have this plugin, however, do you have the same clips as well on your notebook at the same locations?
When the plugin just references anything on HD and does not save it in it's patch or bank there is no chance for Cantabile to store or load it on another machine just by a copy of the session file...
...it's similar to a plugin that is not installed on both machines.

apparentyl rmx makes a temp file in that location....it's weird to, then why doesn't this happen when I do it in cubase or kore and then open their files on another computer and the midi clip i drag and dropped is still there....just happens with cantabile...my guess is that those programs make a copy of the drag and dropped file...and then it stays within the kore performance or the cubase session...it seems cantabile doesn't handle drag and drop the same way but just references it...which is causing the problem....

...if it works in other DAW's it looks like it is an issue with Cantabiles VST patch or bank management. Maybe it's just a missing setting or option...
I think BradR should know and can answer this question...

thanks for your help, TiUser! Hopefully, BradR will see this post...I did send an email via the website to him...but he's in australia i believe and I'm in California!
I have a work around by opening seperate instances of RMX and then programing a bypass button to turn the parts on and off...but would like to not have to do the extra step of opening stylus in kore and then drag and drop the midi file there...

I'm sure he reads our postings anytime - he always does even if he does not respond instantly. If it's urgent try to send the mail again, sometimes mail gets lost in a hurry...
