Anything? What new synths and software can we expect this year?

There was an earlier thread on this that sorta died.

Otherwise, nothing that I know of.
I know of four manufacturers and developers that really won't even be there.

Probably will just be a lot of rehashed products until Summertime.

In considering that I'm only really waiting for Samplemodeling virtual strings and Efflam's virtual guitar/bass, you could probably count me out. No, there probably will not be anything even worth looking at with NAMM2010. Just, as they say, rehashes and rehashes, and nothing that would really stand out.

Sample libraries? Yes, you can count on them...sooooo boooooring.

More VA synths...haven't we got enough of those already?

Samplemodeling instruments? Now that would be quite special. I have my doubts, and truth be told they seriously are the only sample-based emulations of real instruments, apart from virtual drum kits, that I would be interested in.

Whoops, I just forgot there will be one thing of interest that I'm sure of. It's the Eigenharp Pico, a new revolutionary controller that combines highly expressive keys and breath control, and is reasonably priced.

Eigenharp will not be there either.

It would be nice if Redleaf is there (will have to check the NAMM site for listing).
