Octave shift controlled by subsession change

Hello everyone,

I am beginning to do nice things with Cantabile Performer. In particular, Triggers in connection with Subsessions are fantastic for setting both my MIDI controller and my Yamaha keyboard for live use.

A problem I would like to solve is related to Octave shift on my M-audio kbd (controllable by a button, but not via a MIDI command). When I change from subsession X to subsession Y, I sometime need to remember to shift +1 (or +2) octave the M-audio, and this is not so nice in live work...

I have seen that octave shift (or, in general, transposition) is possible in Cantabile by working with MIDI filters, that operate at rack level. But this will require "songs" needing different octave shifts to be grouped in different racks, that appears not very "logic" (I am used to consider a rack a different thing).

So, my question: is there a simpler way for associating different octave shifts with sub-sessions?

I was completely in error! :D

The selection Split/Trans in the top bar of the rack is sub-session dependent!!

Very powerful program!
