I think you all have read about this.
Too bad it doesn't have MIDI.

So I had a try (and four days of work) and made this:

that's pretty cool, wish I was that handy. I have a Bliptronic, and the physical act o pushing the buttons is great fun. recorded a track with it, and I actually loved the fact that the rhythm wasn't exactly perfect when you used it. there was a little sway to it. here's my kid playing with mine:

Some testing needed. And before public release, I would like to have someone who would do a video with it as a demonstration. Anyone?

I always thought it did not sound 100% "right", and while continuing the work at my stringmachine, I found out the reason. The stringmachine will have the chorus exactly modelled after the original circuit.

Graphics tuned (see first post), added clear button, last thing to do is transpose by MIDI in, then it's ready.

Any chance of a button per row to randomize the note on/off states on each row? Or perhaps a button to randomize the whole grid? Thanks!

Nope. But play order can be random.
