Oomingmak - Tips for Better Bass Guitar Tracking?

I'm trying to use my bass guitar with Oomingmak but haven't really had too much success so far. Basically, I just need a really dry pitch tracking oscillator that I can use other filters and effects on subsequently. Any help here?

It ought to work for that, and indeed other users have previously commented that it tracks bass guitar particularly well.
Are you sending a clean signal straight from your bass into Oomingmak? What kind of pitches are you playing? The plug-in should track quite well down to about 40Hz.
Is the signal level strong enough? (You should see good movement on the plug-in's level meters.)
Have you tried playing with the input filter settings?
