Found a curious issue when using the voicecontrol in Cubase (5.1.1. on XP). Setup is voicecontrol in a audio stereo track, and a midi track with midi out to the voice control.
All is fine when playing midi with a keyboard, external sequencer or midi file. Until I pressed "play" AND then "stop" on the cubase transport. The mixer level and even the output of the audio interface (alesis io 26)still show output activity, but the synth (moog prodigy) is silent. The issue only arises if pressing play and stop (if I never pressed play I can press stop and it still works).
Unloading and then reloading the voicecontrol plug solves the problem.
Tried the same with Ableton Live - no issue there.
Is this a known bug or do I miss something? Do other Cubase users experience the same or similar?
Apart from that: works like a charm, it is simply fantastic. Prodigy and Pro1 track very well with the alesis. Next on the list are Korg X911, Yamaha CS15, Roland System 100, SH5 and a little paia. Have to make some cables...
