I have many piano sessions that are write-protected (marked read-only), to prevent unsuccessful EQ's and similar edits from being accidentally written over good ones.
Whenever I Revert to one of these protected sessions, the reversion appears to work all right, but it ends with a message box saying "Failed to save - Access denied". I dismiss the box and forge ahead all right, but I wonder what it's all about. I have not noticed this behavior until recently. Normal, non-protected sessions act normal when Reverting.
Does Revert actually try to save things; if so, why does it bother? The whole purpose of Reversion is to abandon something you have screwed up royally and pretend it never happened.

Very minor bug, then. Puzzling, not very troublesome, no urgency whatever to repair.bradr wrote:Sounds like a bug... I'll look into it.
