Hey guys,
I'm a new piano player and I am just learning how to play chords and put them together.
I'm experimenting with different chords and how they fit together and the progression between them.
I've spent the last hour or so playing around on my keyboard to try and emulate the chords used in this song but I can't seem to figure it out. They seem really simple:

It revolves around a G#m chord: B D# G#
The simplified progression is something like E#m - F# - G#m - C# but it's way more complex with several notes added. Very complex harmony... Not typically suited for the beginner to figure it out.

OK, I gave this a quick listen. I am hearing 3 chords in that part of the song:
C#m9 (Left hand: C#, Right hand: E G# B D#)
Emaj9 (Left hand: E, Right hand: G# B D# F#)
G#m9 (Left hand: G#, Right hand: F# A# B D#)
I listened to this on laptop speakers so it's very possible I am missing something. But this should be a good place for you to start from on figuring out the rest of the keyboard parts.
