rhino is an awesome and unique animal

rhino is fantastic sounding!

i just got this second hand from marketplace from sunhome (thanks!) for a great price.

so now i'm playing with it trying to learn it a bit.

so far i've figured out the basic workflow of getting things setup, but there are a few things i'm wondering;

is it possible to allow aftertouch to control a pitch LFO? would i do this by setting aftertouch to global pitch amount? i do this but it doesn't seem to register a change when i send AT message.

rhino is a gorgeous instrument, and i've been playing with a simple little strings patch i setup in 15 seconds and it sounds beautiful.

i'm interested in learning the rhino on a much more deeper intimate level.

i guess if i knew where to set the global pitch amount, that would probably help.

ok so i figured out the global pitch amount envelope. now i just need to figure out how to modulate between 2 pitches.

ok i sorted it. adjust the pitch modulation slider of the osc, in the global pitch modulation envelope load simply a lfo envelope preset, then adjust with scale by percentage, tweak the AT curve to taste, and done.

insanely flexible.

going to have to study the rhino envelope system more.

aha now vibrato slider makes a difference with global pitch and also right click | edit curves makes envelopes much easier to understand.

echopark; maybe. one improvement i'd make over the default are some different font choices for legibility reasons.
