as the the subject the Tascam US-1641 working with SW, i've tried it with an A-110.
I've got 4 octave with the AC/DC convert cable.
With the active circuit i hope to get more .

So - doesn't work straight out of the interface w/o ac encoder plug?

Yes you must use the AC encoder plugin if you use a nonDc cpupled interface as the tascam.
