Hi folks,
I'd like to know songs in 5/4 beat.
I don't know any, except for Take Five, but that's more like 3/4 + 2/4.
Appreciate your reply.

Google is our friend, and so is Wikipedia. Consulting them is quick and easy. Doing so before posting shows that you're putting in some effort toward solving your problem rather than asking others to do your homework for you. *thumbs up*

you're trying to deprive us the opportunity of arguing over time signatures now????????? what about our time honored tradition of the 7/8 aficionadoes showing their superiority over the 5/4 crowd??????? stupid mods!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111oneoneoneoneshift+eleventyoneone111!!!!!!!!Meffy wrote:Google is our friend, and so is Wikipedia. Yup, a classic one: Jesus Christ Superstar - Everything's Alright
That's a bit harsh. I believe the guy asked for our opinion just as one would in a pub, like, what's your favorite samba tune or something..Meffy wrote:Google is our friend, and so is Wikipedia...

One I'm surprised hasn't been listed yet is Gustav Holst's Mars, from The Planets. This and "Take Five" are the ones I think of first.

@bluedad: Just so. And there's nothing wrong with that. But in my experience answers are more plentiful and more helpful if/when I show that I've done some research before asking a question.
In fact, it's rare that a little research doesn't eliminate the need for me to post a question. When I do have to ask about something I'm often better prepared, ask in a better formulated way, and can absorb the replies more effectively -- thanks to a little preliminary googling and such.
But enough of that. Make with the fives.

"Frame By Frame" from King Crimson is the first one that pops into my head.
