I use sampletank XL
I have 70's retro , Vintage rock grooves 60's motown country folk rythms.
Only the 70's retro grooves has "sets" of grooves mapped across several keys
( 5 to 20) with grooves that go together making groove jumping( and blending) a breeze.I love it. But the other mentioned grtoove packs only allow me to load one groove at a time. why is it diffent between these packs . I do know that the single mapped grooves are split for re-programming but just wondering if there are patches for those other groove libraies where just the grooves are mapped in user friendly "go-together" groups as the 70's Retro grooves are ?
How can my other groove packs be like 70's retro grooves ?

They were just done differently. One thing you CAN do though is load up 16 different grooves with slice maps and layer grooves that way. It's not as convenient as the Retro library but it has some other benefits such as reconstructing the groove with midi and/or playing the slices.

Are we able to create our own. I did exactly what you said but found it cumbersome and gave up (I actually tried to isolate the full loop to one key per channel- moving the next channel/loop to the next isolated key). I made it to 4 and gave up- as I had to change the transpose for each one (and key ranges).
Or better yet- you doing a RAW group buy anytime soon- I can easily do all of this in EXS in Logic.
