THANKS!

Greg
Don't ask me, I just play here.

Post

Just finished watching it.
Not bad at all.

Kris Needs - Geezer. Proud to play on the same bill as him.
Didn't know he was a journalist 'type' as well...

Charlie Morgan - Class.

Even the 'musicoligist' made a couple of good points.

Result!

I've heard vurt is a bit of a fan.
He's got good taste, him.
Hope he gets to see this.

FWIW: Aerial is my favorite album by her...

But they are all good.

Genius.
Sheer Genius.

cheers.

That was very interesting..thanks!
my introduction to Kate was through the 80's article in Keyboard mag, which made me search for
'the Dreaming'..
My favorite album also, is 'Aerial'

Great stuff, thanks for the link :D :D :D

Hounds of Love is as perfect a album as they come, it could only be improved by being twice as long, and as big a fan as I am, she's been in deline since imo.
RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

Wow! Thanks a lot for the heads up:) Just finished watching it... I had forgotten what a great album it is. Also great to see Charlie Morgan again after so many years.

Thanks for the link. I really enjoyed watching this. I pretty much lost interest after The Red Shoes, but perhaps I should check out Aerial, seeing as several people have mentioned it.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Shows how sexy she was.

Can't seem to download this though - that is annoying seeing as it will be gone soon. Anyone had any luck?

Thanks Codec really interesting link. Actually never paid much attention to Kate Bush although have always liked her mainstream releases. This documentary is quite an eye opener on how strong an artist she was and an amazing artist, producer, performer...going to have to dig some albums out.
She's an incredible example of how a female was such a front runnner using new technologies such as the Fairlight. Expecially as new techs normally feel like a 'bloke' environment. Now to get my Mrs's hooked on some soft plugins ^^ lol/

Back to topic...thanks for share great education on some well known tracks from my 'growing pain' years.

Thanks

She was also a pioneer in so many ways including integrating dance and other art elements with performance and was one of the first (way before Madonna etc) to use a worn mike so she could dance and sing at the same time (something everyone takes for granted these days)

Excellent, thanks a lot. This album was my first introduction to Kate Bush (and from then through the whole collection). Maybe her best album (haven't listened to 'Aerial' yet).

my favourite album is 'The Dreaming' though: So powerful and inventive!

That's indeed an amazing album as well. Nice, I'm starting to rediscover some gems I almost forgot about, and I learned that in small doses it's way better to listen to her stuff (I had a time when I listened to her day in day out  like about 15 years ago, and sometimes couldn't stomach anything by her anymore ...).
