Some questions on "Best of Sonic Strings" and "Bonus Disc for Sampletank 2.5"

Hi!

I'm on the fence on spending some of my epointz and am investigating some of the ST soundpacks that are available at esoundz.

(1) Best of Sonic Strings

They retail at $199 (minus member discount) and seem to be studio strings - my thoughts were: aren't they a bit pricy in comparison to let's say Expansion Tank Symphony Strings or the like? Especially keeping in mind that the size of the soundpacks are quite comparable.

But maybe there is a good reason for this price and in that case I'd like to know more about them and how they compare to expansion tank strings.


(2) Bonus Disc for Sampletank 2.5

Is there a detailed instrument list available on this one?

No just what you see so far. The promo only runs through Monday I believe... or was it all of June? Maybe we'll extend it to the end of June. But that's still only a few weeks! Some cool libraries to get!

We may be missing some detailed lists but Allen has been putting those together as fast as he can on many of them... we have to go through everything and do that really. It's a big process. But we want to offer that for all of the products on esoundz or at least most of them.

A few words on the comparison between "best of sonic STrings" and Symphony STrings (expansion tank)?

My guess would be that the price difference is based on some good arguments?!?

The NEW Symphony Strings 2 borrows a lot from Best of Sonic Strings. HUGE overlap between these two.

Ah, OK!

Thanks for this info. Since I now HAVE Symphony STrings 2 I won't go for this one. Well, I still have to figure out what to choose.
