I found that this small eq gives good and fast results to the individual track in a mix due to its simple and small interface.
Ideally an eq would have no user interface and would be directly connected to our brain but this small gem does wonders.
Would anybody agree this would be a nice addition to Image Lines Juice Pack so it can be available to other people too not just FlStudio users ?
If you dont believe me try it.Grab a demo of Image Line FlStudio and import the rendered individual instrument tracks from the daw you are currently using.
Then assign each track to an FlStudio FX Mixer channel.
Do not add any plugin on the tracks just use its built in 3 band Eq and dial in quick settings based on what sounds good to you in the given mix.
Next step export the mix to a wave file .
Compare that to your previous mix obtained in your current DAW.
The mix where you used Image Line FlStudio's FX Channel 3 band Eq wil have been created in less time and sounding better.
That is because how our brain works. On other Eq's with bigger graphic user interface results are not as good as the ones using Image Line FlStudio 3 band Eq built in the FX Channel because your brain spends time locating knobs, reading spectral graphic representations of sounds ,coordonating hand movement over longer distances.
I would like the ones who followed my test and found that their initial mix made without the FlStudio's 3 band Eq built into the FX Channel the FX Channel sounds better than the one using FlStudio's 3 band Eq built into the FX Channel to post their results.
I do not promote any software.I promote the ideea that makes a certain software work better than the others.
