An ambient groove thing, some nice sounds. I like how the arrangement came out.. simple but what I wanted iyswim, which is more satisfying, at least this end

Mmmm... quite tasty t00nz! Really nice sound selection... a great minimal palette.

Hey, don't you know that you need to share that Glenmorangie?

I think that the thumping kick drum really spoils what could otherwise be a rather good song. It is way too fast and out of place with with the smooth, laid back, ambient feel of the song.

Love the grinding "bullfrog" rhythmic sound.

I actually enjoy how the drums / percussion contrast with the wet paddy / suspended lingering tones in the background.

It's nice and moody.

So, the drums are a bit like marmite huh... My thought is, for this track there might not be enough left if they were taken away. I'm curious to listen to it that way now, but I think 2 of 3 things I'm working on now have little or no 'beats' so I'm happy to leave this one how it is..

I'm all for contrasting elements too, but maybe this track is not quite gelling together well enough for that to work I don't know. (I did like the 'bullfrog' sound too, maybe should have done more with it).
