This looks like a killer iPhone app!

pity I only have a 3G as the quality is slightly reduced (due to the slower processor than later iPhone models) but it still might be worth getting
Looks like a combo of Virsyn's Matrix vocoder, Poseidon (for the resynth aspect) and Cantor (for the voice sequencer)
- one of the first proper instruments for iPhone that for me make sense to use in production

it sounds quite good... -monophonic only tho, which is a bit of a bummer..
no nice vocoded chords, just robot voices really. Even 3 note abillity might have been nice.

Internally it's already built for polyphonic voices, but it would have made the sequencer/lyrics synchronisation much more complex. We're trying to solve this soon and then you will have the ability to use chords too.shanecgriffo wrote:it sounds quite good... -monophonic only tho, which is a bit of a bummer..

maybe just for live use? -That would be awesome if possible in the meantime.VirSyn wrote:Internally it's already built for polyphonic voices, but it would have made the sequencer/lyrics synchronisation much more complex. That's exactly what's planned for the first step - adding polyphony for live usage.
In the next step i think about adding kind of chord signature to each sequencer note. The the sequencer stays monophonic but each note can act like a chord.
