This looks like a killer iPhone app!

pity I only have a 3G as the quality is slightly reduced (due to the slower processor than later iPhone models) but it still might be worth getting

Looks like a combo of Virsyn's Matrix vocoder, Poseidon (for the resynth aspect) and Cantor (for the voice sequencer)

- one of the first proper instruments for iPhone that for me make sense to use in production

So long as they price it correctly...

iVoxel is now available in the app store. I can only see the price in Swedish kronor but it looks like it's around $10.

it sounds quite good... -monophonic only tho, which is a bit of a bummer..
no nice vocoded chords, just robot voices really. Even 3 note abillity might have been nice.

Internally it's already built for polyphonic voices, but it would have made the sequencer/lyrics synchronisation much more complex. We're trying to solve this soon and then you will have the ability to use chords too.

maybe just for live use? -That would be awesome if possible in the meantime.

That's exactly what's planned for the first step - adding polyphony for live usage.
In the next step i think about adding kind of chord signature to each sequencer note. The the sequencer stays monophonic but each note can act like a chord.
